Hot Mango Pickle is Indo-chic. Think India with a twist. The Mughal dynasty meets Japan’s runway. Bright pink meets icy hues. Mythical symbols meet tattoo edge. A touch of Kitsch. A hint of gaudy. If it were a drink it would be a rosewater mojito, if it were dessert it would be cardamom cupcakes with saffron frosting.
What we do
The product design company, Hot Mango Pickle is the brainchild of founders Ushi and Rupal Patel. After encouragement from Ushi’s father, a Silicon Valley-based engineer, they founded Hot Mango Pickle in February 2006 with the goal of creating an edgy product line that reflected an indo-chic aesthetic. The Hot Mango Pickle product line features original art by Ushi and Rupal Patel and includes gift items, novelty items, and party and wedding favors sold directly to clients as wells as through wholesale.
After an incredible response to the Hot Mango Pickle style and product offering, in January 2007 Ushi and Rupal began expanding the company to include other talented artists and designers to implement the Hot Mango Pickle aesthetic into spaces and events.
A percentage of Hot Mango Pickle profits goes to charity.
