Ushi is a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology’s College of Imaging Arts and Sciences and received her MBA from RIT’s College of Business. During her time at RIT she was an NCAA All-American Volleyball player as well as Academic All-American Player of the Year.
After completing her MBA, Ushi spent 7 years in the areas of product design and branding, spearheading the global launch of 4 product lines for the SYDA Foundation, directing the creative services area for the MaxGroup, a Bay Area-based printing company, and working with many small business owners and artists on their marketing, branding, and communications efforts. In the fall of 2006 she consulted on store design and branding with the owners of Manika Jewelry, an upscale jewelry boutique located on San Francisco’s Maiden Lane.
Ushi has traveled to over 20 countries and is an artist and product designer.
